PERMALINKS PLAY A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE IN SEARCH ENGINE RANKING OF THE POST.There are SOME rules THAT everyone should follow for Blogspot permalinks:
- Keep the no. of characters in the post title limited to 50
- Remove Stop words from permalink (Ex: A, an, the)
While writing the blog post, you have the option to edit permalink. Use it to edit THE permalink and remove the stop words. A good idea is ONLY to use Keywords in the permalinks. (Do not make it look spammy). While writing the blog post, you will get the option in your right panel to keep it automatic permalink or manual permalink. select only manual permalink and edit it accordingly to the wish.
